my artist practise draws upon the observation of the everyday patterns ebbs and flows of water, the organisation of light, sound and movement.

I am inspired to create paintings and drawings which involve an investigation into the perception of the beauty in the environment from the western sublime to eastern aesthetic values,

I begin each painting from the source of the environment , of a place travelled explored and observed. Aiming to capture the sense of light ,mood ,colour and rhythm of the atomostmosphere.

I graduated from Falmouth College of Art in 2007, since then my passion for eastern aesthetics inspired a trip to japan. thus enriching and influencing many aspects my practise.
